アキライケダギャラリー/ベルリンは、2002年9月3日から11月23日まで、"One Million Years (Past and Future)" ＣＤシリーズ初のライブ録音を行いました。今までに出版されたCDは、ドクメンタXIを含み、全てスタジオで録音されています。ネイティブであるドイツ人が英語で年号を読み、女性は偶数、男性は奇数を朗読しました。録音は各６０分間です。"Past"と"Future"を毎回交代して録音し、"Past"を録音中は画廊内の別室で"Future"のCDを流し、"Future"を録音中は"Past"のCDを流しました。この展覧会は、展覧会趣旨を明確にするため、視覚的要素を排除した公開録音のみの企画展でした。
